Marriage Offends Homosexuals

Need more evidence of cultural decline? Here in the United Kingdom, the words “marriage” and “wedding” have been purged from the register offices in the name of homosexual equality. The story in The Daily Mail features a woman in a white wedding dress and a man in a tuxedo with the caption “the traditional image: a bride and groom” in case people forgot what it looked like.
The register staff has been ordered to change all signs so that homosexuals signing up for civil partnerships won’t feel unequally treated. Marriages between men and women in Britain s(t)ill outnumber civil ceremonies by more than 200 to one.
Homosexual activists have long stated their desire to do away with marriage and the uniqueness of the male-female relationship. But they can’t build themselves up by tearing down marriage, which is in trouble enough.
People wonder about the consequences of a secular society. This is one of them. At a time when the government is trying to control out-of-control children, it might consider its out of control culture.

As I write this, I must preface my comment by saying that I truly believe that every person needs Jesus regardless of their sexual orientation. I do not hate any group of people, but I must ask: What is up with these gay people anyway? They are constantly trying to shove man+man and woman+woman down our throats. I am sick of hearing the words "Homosexual", "civil union", "same-sex partner", etc. I am a woman married to a man, but I dont go around introducing my husband as my "different-sex partner" or saying that I am a heterosexual. It seems to me that less is more when it comes to being accepted by the public at large (which is the goal of the homosexual agenda). In other words, Christians dont agree with their lifestyle, but if they will just stop trying to shove it down our throats every minute, we will be less likely to notice it. So, I say to all the gay people in the world - Shut up and no one will "discriminate" against you because we wont know who is gay and who is not. If you ask me, it was a lot better when they stayed in their closets and didnt come out!
Hi Beth,
What we of the "straight" culture may have forgotten is that the homosexuals are using an "advertising blitz" against us.
They realize that if they can super-saturate us with the "homo is normal" theme, then the bulk of people, who typlically don't adhere to as deep moral values as evangelical Christian do, will be swayed. They will say "well, it's not hurting me, so what does it matter?" What they don't understand is that someday it will hurt them, as it changes society and destroys the traditional family...the one thing that has held this country together for so long.
