Hamas: We don't want 'satanic' American money

Hamas says "We don't want 'satanic' American money" but then adds they would " gladly' accept U.S. aid". The pali's are such a joke. How can anyone take them seriously as a political organization. They are and always will be a bunch of slimy terrorist.

In response to reports the United States and Israel are exploring ways to monetarily isolate his terror group, which is currently forming the next Palestinian government, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar yesterday slammed international critics and claimed Hamas doesn't need "satanic" American money.
But al-Zahar took quite a different tone just prior to Hamas' major win in last month's parliamentary elections when he told WorldNetDaily during an interview his organization will "gladly" accept U.S. financial aid and that he will allow American donations to be monitored by "anyone who wants."
"Those who built their structure on the basis of the Quran ... cannot budge because of promises from America or a dollar from Europe. I wish America would cut off its aid. We do not need this satanic money," al-Zahat said yesterday at a news conference in Cairo.

His statements followed press accounts yesterday stating Israel and the U.S. were putting together a plan to force Hamas from power, reportedly focusing on an economic squeeze that would prompt Palestinians to call for the return of the long-ruling Fatah Party, currently led by Mahmoud Abbas.
The New York Times, citing anonymous U.S. and Israeli officials, reported the U.S.-led campaign would starve the Palestinian Authority out of cash so the Palestinians would revolt against the Hamas-led government.
Al-Zahar said his group has in the past been funded by Arab donors, and it will continue seeking outside contributions to bypass the United States.
"America and Europe tried to dry up the funding of the 'terrorist' Hamas that is spent on the families of the martyrs and the detainees, but it (Hamas) has only increased [its fuding]," al-Zahar said.
In contrast to his anti-American statements yesterday, al-Zahar, in the WND interview, outright lobbied for U.S. money.
"Without any condition we are accepting any money and we are ready to put these figures in the proper way and in a purified manner. Anybody can follow this money, can observe and account, do anything to be sure that we are running our system without corruption," al-Zahar said in response to a question about whether he would accept American aid.
Al-Zahar, whose group has openly funded and carried out scores of suicide bombings and rocket and shooting attacks against Israelis, said he would use American money to build "factories, agriculture and [other] real investments in the Palestinian people."
