Jesus Is Lord, A Worshipping Christian's Blog

Given to the worship of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who came to earth, lived sinless, died as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, was raised from the dead and rules from heaven at the right hand of God. All comments are welcome (keep them civil). You may post questions, prayer request and comments about almost anything. Please sign my guestbook.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". John 14:6

He took a little child and had him stand among them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them, "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me." John 9:36-37

HBO's Big Love

More of the same from hollywood.

Beyond the News

Those of us who have been outspoken defenders of traditional marriage – one man and one woman – have been predicting for some time that legalizing gay marriage would open the door to all sorts of new definitions of what does constitute marriage.
Turns out – we’re right. Now there’s a movement called polyamory, which means “many loves.” Its followers believe that the government has no right to restrict how consenting adults choose to define a family.
One polyamorist has relationships with a total of 12 men and women, which he calls co-lovers. The A.C.L.U. of Utah believes these groupings are protected constitutionally and more recently under the Lawrence decision.
Gay activists want America to buy into this agenda. Enter HBO and their new series Big Love, featuring a home improvement store owner in Salt Lake City who lives with his three wives and seven children.
People who believe in the true and historic definition of marriage must prepare for a long and difficult battle. But don’t expect HBO to be helping anytime soon.
