Cocky West: "I Should Be In The Bible"
The term "cocky" doesn't even go far enough to define what West is being. I'm surprised his head even fits through doorways anymore. I guess in California they use oversized doorways a lot though.
Cocky rap star KANYE WEST is calling for a revised edition of THE BIBLE, because he thinks he should be a character in it.
The JESUS WALKS hitmaker, who picked up three Grammy Awards last night (08FEB06), feels sure he'd be "a griot" (West African storyteller) in a modern Bible.
He says, "I bring up historical subjects in a way that makes kids want to learn about them. I'm an inspirational speaker.
"I changed the sound of music more than one time... For all those reasons, I'd be a part of the Bible. I'm definitely in the history books already."

I hardly believe the sound West makes could be called music. I have heard more alarming tales about him lately than I care to. Especially disturbing was the cover of a magazine (was it Rolling Stone?) where he wore a crown of thorns and hung on a cross. What is wrong with this freak?
Hi Beth. Thanks for the comment. I've missed your excellent comments on the blog lately.
I'm not a fan of rap at all. It take little skill and very little talent to do rap. Calling it music is really not accurate, since it's more like prose then music. But anyway, back to West...
He does have a very inflated opinion of himself and needs to take a reality break.
Jesus Is Lord,
I have been out of town for over a week with my husband and children. My husband is a police officer in our state and he has to go for a weeks training every year, so the kids and I made a mini-vacation out of it. I have just finished reading all the posts I missed while I was out of pocket. I have to say, I am soooo impressed with the comments between you and "backslider". Awesome! That is just another example of the wonderful work you are doing on this blog. He is obviously seeking and you are leading him to a deeper relationship with the Lord. You are doing a great job and I while I know that "our righteous deeds are like filthy rags", I cant help but believe that God is smiling on your efforts here on the internet. I am sure that with a job and family you have plenty to do without keeping this site going, so I just have to say....keep up the good work - you are making changes in the Kingdom. God bless you - (and your wife and children for allowing you to take time from them to do this - it is a sacrifice that is well worth the effort)..
Hi Beth!
Glad to have you back. You were missed. I admire and thank your husband for his hard work in law enforcement. It is often a thankless job, but he, as well as all the others in that line of work are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the kind words. I appreciate the support very much. I am only what God has made me. I give glory to the Lord for any blessings I receive and praise His Holy Name!
God Bless and Welcome Home.
