Gospel Singer: There's Way Out Of Being Gay

Ah-Oh, the homosexual activist aren't going to like this guy very much.
Notice how big an article Local 6 gave this story. Buried pretty deep in the web site too. Liberal media...gotta love 'em.

FREEPORT, N.Y. -- Gospel singer Donnie McClurkin said he knows from personal experience that God offers an exit for people who don't want to be gay.
The Grammy Award-winning singer, who pastors a church in New York, told Religion and Ethics Newsweekly that after being molested as a boy his "desires were toward men."
But he said, "God gave me the wherewithal to get out of that and find out who I really am."
"That's how the change took place, the different scriptures in the Bible, his will being shown through the scriptures," McClurkin said. "God walked me through it."
McClurkin said that he tells others "who are looking for that exit" that God can "do it for them."

Homosexuality is like any other sin - if you have a proclivity toward it, you have to resist it. I have a natural bent toward certain sins, just like others have a natural bent toward other sins. Part of being a Christian is having to turn from those sins. Is the sin of homosexualtiy worse than any other sin? No, but it may be more difficult to resist. What homosexuals first need to grasp is that it actually IS sin. That is where the breakdown comes in....they dont believe or wont admit it is sin, therefore, they see no need for forgiveness. When a homosexual is convicted and realizes that they are living in sin, I believe that God will give them the ability to resist it just as He gives any of us the ability to resist sins we are drawn to. If only we could get that message across to the homosexual crowd without being harassed and judged.

I'm with you on that. God will always give the sinner the ability to resist the sin, if they ask Him to help.
What saddens me most is that because the homosexual doesn't see it as sin and don't want to be changed, and Christianity does see it as a sin, there is always going to be an impass between them. I pray that God will open their eyes to the sin and that they will pray to be changed.
